BIMI (pronounced "bih-mee") stands for Brand Indicators for Message Identification. It's a new technology that helps your emails stand out to your recipients by displaying an official trademarked logo next to your messages. In our case, it will be the HAULIX logo.

Here is what BIMI looks like in Gmail on a desktop computer. Also notice the blue checkmark, verifying that we own "haulix.com."

What makes BIMI so important?

BIMI plays a role in strengthening security because it helps prove the sender is who they say they are.

Additionally, BIMI trains contacts to visually recognize your emails, making it easier to identify bad messages. When contacts see the HAULIX logo in their inbox, they will instantly know the message is legitimate and that your latest release is waiting on the other end.

Is BIMI available to everyone?

The process for getting a digital certificate in order to use BIMI is actually quite rigorous and spanned several weeks. We had to supply everything short of a DNA sample to prove our company's ownership and legitimacy.

With that said, BIMI is new! It's currently supported by a few providers, with the big one being Gmail. Others will be offering support as it becomes more adopted as a standard.

The Team at HAULIX knows the important role email plays when sharing music. Our customers send out close to 4 million promo-related emails per month. Our early adoption of BIMI shows our dedication to continually investing money and resources in being at the forefront of new technology.
